Start with the data
The first working experience connected the story to Tranquil’s existing market inputs. Defined rules turn that context into the headline, layers, and supporting explanation.

Inside Tranquil · The Atmosphere story
A familiar setup. A different outcome. What changed? Often, the answer lives in the market around the trade. Atmosphere was built to bring that context into view.
01 / The reason
As a retail trader, you make decisions in a market with more information than any one screen can comfortably explain. Access to data is only the beginning. You also need to understand how the pieces relate to the trade you are considering.
Tranquil exists to make that understanding more accessible: to help self-directed traders recognize risk, question a setup, and approach each trading day with more context. The ambition is to put useful market understanding within every retail trader’s reach.
A clearer read can help you decide to act, wait, or walk away.
02 / The idea
The idea for Atmosphere came to Tranquil’s founder, Ryan Oldenburg, as a sudden shift in perspective. The product already brought together range, volatility, positioning, and market structure. The next step was to make their relationship easier to see.
The design began with a simple question: what are the few things a trader needs to understand right now—and what evidence supports them?
That question became a spatial idea. Put price at the center. Arrange the surrounding conditions in layers. Give the trader a plain-English read, with the detail still close at hand.

Your question
What environment is my setup trading into?
The headline places price below the previous day’s range. The explanation brings volatility, timeframe bias, and nearby levels into that same read.
In this capture: monthly neutral, weekly bearish, daily bearish.

04 / Bringing the vision to life
The first working experience connected the story to Tranquil’s existing market inputs. Defined rules turn that context into the headline, layers, and supporting explanation.
The experience evolved into a dedicated Atmosphere view. Clearer context labels, volatility movement, and the nearby GEX field added depth to the original scene.
The design makes room for conflicting conditions and incomplete information. A market read should help you ask better questions, without making the outcome feel certain.
